Women Work; leading the way to a brighter future
Women Work aims to lead the way to a brighter future for women from all communities; encouraging them to believe in themselves, support each other, dare to dream big and become a positive role model to the next generation of young women.
Our Journey so Far
Women Work was founded by Ania Jeffries and began as an idea to bring a small group of local women together within a workshop environment to showcase their businesses and create opportunities for collaboration. Due to a high public interest and demand, this small idea quickly snowballed into a very large successful event with over thirteen hundred visitors that gave a stage to more than seventy speakers – opening up the opportunity to showcase their businesses and share their life’s experiences.
Women Work believes that innovation is key to creating a successful future for everyone. Blending the feedback from the women involved with the original event and continued research there have been many changes implemented for the next event. There will be: more time for our speakers to share their knowledge and experiences, more space for exhibitors, a greater emphasis on building successful businesses, and a greater opportunity to network and create new connections.
